Bamboo Tea Tray

Description

This bamboo tea tray can be used for breaking tea cakes and bricks. Because these cakes are usually tightly compressed, it is necessary to loosen and break the leaves away from the cake with a tea needle or knife before brewing the leaves – and as such, there are often small broken leaves or crumbs that come off the cake during the breaking.

This tray provides a cleaner, more convenient way to do this, with the open notch on the top of the tray allowing you to pick up the lid and pour the dropped pieces into your pot or anywhere else.

Note: because this tray is made of bamboo, it is important that it is kept dry and away from prolonged contact with heat.
